“Victor had an excellent presentation with personal anecdotes and a powerful message. Victor engaged the audience from the second the presentation started and kept them on the tip of their seats until the end. I highly recommend Victor’s presentation for any school, at any age.” Teacher, Berwyn School District 98

Meet Victor Pacini
Creator – Be Seen and Heard©  Live and Online Program

Everyone has a story! My story is tragic on one hand but pretty amazing on the other. I was sexually abused at eight years old by a family friend. During that time I had to deal with an alcoholic father that told me time and time again that children should be seen and not heard. In 1999 my mom died at the age of 59. In 2001, I lost my sister to domestic violence. I DECIDED to CREATE out of my pain and help others do the same. I designed this program and others to empower children to create that confident voice, value that voice, and share that voice with their world. I look forward to meeting you one day!

Be Seen and Heard©

Delicately Raising Awareness About Sexual Abuse and Giving Children a Voice to Speak Up!

Overall goal of this Erin’s Law Program for Schools: To create a safe and engaging environment where children will learn about the dangers of abuse and the difference between safe and unsafe touching. A personal story of a boy’s experience with abuse and how he kept it a secret. The discussion of how unsafe secrets are not healthy to keep.

To empower children to have a voice in who they are, the confidence to speak up, and the awareness to recognize a potential dangerous situation.

A booklet titled, Be Seen and Heard© : Littleboy’s Secret and 4 Rules You Must Know and Understand to Keep You and Your Body Safe. It has been written to explain the difference between safe and unsafe touch, and safe and unsafe secrets. The song titled, Tic-Tac-No-Go© has been created to engage the children so that this very serious topic can be more easily learned and enjoyed through an engaging and entertaining process. (English and Spanish Editions Available)

The 4 rules are known as “The Body Safety Plan”. They are simple, clear, and have one purpose – to keep children safe!

Erin’s Law is named after childhood sexual assault survivor, author, speaker and activist Erin Merryn, who is the founder and President of Erin’s Law, which is registered with the State of Illinois and the IRS as a 501 (c)(4) non-profit social welfare organization.

After Erin introduced the legislation in her home state of Illinois, the bill was named “Erin’s Law” after her by legislators and it has caught on nationwide.
