a night for reneƩ
In 2009, Victor was named 'Chicago's Very Own' from WGN channel 9. This story was filmed at Elm Middle School in Elmwood Park, IL.
September 2001 was a most challenging and tragic time for Victor Pacini and his family. Having spent nearly three weeks in a hospital, their sister Reneé lost her courageous fight to live due to domestic violence. Reneé's death caused much sadness for Victor's family, especially for her two small children, Andrea and Alyssa. Deciding to channel his anger, sadness, and confusion into a solution to a tragedy, Victor has created The Neysake Foundation© (pronounced ney sake). His mission is a dedication to Reneé's courageous life. The nucleus of this Project is to raise money for shelters that specialize in domestic violence. Victor feels that by taking this path, he can make some sense out of this tragedy and keep the spirit of Reneé vibrantly alive.
